Background

Financing a college education can be confusing and overwhelmingly stressful. I am passionately committed to working with students and their families to help lighten that stress as much as possible. Understanding the financial process is the first step to this and taking the time to listen, be present, and help educate is so essential. I am blessed to be part of an academic environment whose Benedictine values promote honoring and respecting its students and nurtures the idea of a welcoming and hospitable community. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to share in one of a student’s most influential life experiences.  

I have been a part of the 91ֱ��’s community for many years. I came to Washington from Southern California as a high school graduate looking for a small private college that allowed for a more personal approach and a deeper connection to faculty, staff, and other students. I met my husband at 91ֱ��’s and raised both my children while working and making a life here. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology when 91ֱ��’s was still a college (not yet a university) and years later completed the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program for my graduate degree.

I really enjoy hiking, kayaking, gardening, yoga, traveling, and other activities that promote overall wellness—physically, mentally, and spiritually. My husband and I always have home projects going on which allow us to be creative as well as productive. I love spending time with my family and treasure the times my daughter and son come home to visit.
